KBU is envisioned as a new kind of university, one that draws from the wisdom of the Himalayas while engaging with the challenges of today. Inspired by Khangchendzonga, the sacred mountain that watches over Sikkim, we seek to blend timeless values of karuṇā (compassion), prajñā (wisdom), and samaya (sacred bond) with reflective, rigorous education.
